Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant

You will provide consultancy to a broad range of our clients covering the entire suite of Oracle HCM products and associated technology components. The purpose of this role is to provide professional, effective, and efficient technical consultancy to our clients.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Identifying and documenting business requirements
• Configuring Oracle HCM Cloud and E-Business solutions to meet the clients requirements
• Fully document all solutions developed
• Supporting the client through testing and go live
• Supporting the transition to the Symatrix support team
• Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities and tender responses
• Establish strong an effective relationships with the client project teams
• Identify further sales opportunities during the project
• To work as part of a wider team, supporting and training colleagues where necessary
• Deliver knowledge transfer to clients
• Maintaining a good knowledge of the technical solutions offered to solve problems in the HCM space.
• To be responsible for identifying and undertaking training and personal development to meet business needs
• Assist the sales team in pre-sales activities and tender responses and identify further sales opportunities during projects

Person specification

Essential:

• Strong Oracle HCM Cloud Technical experience
• Good consulting experience providing technical solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform.
• Experience in the following on the Oracle HCM platform in a consultancy environment:
• Data Migration
• Integration
• BI
• Well organised and structured in approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel and be away from home

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the Oracle Cloud web services and ATOM feed technologies.
• Knowledge of the Oracle Integration Cloud solution and/or other integration platform as a service solutions.
• Experience implementing solutions on the Oracle EBS platform including the following technical areas:
  • SQL + PL/SQL
  • Oracle JDeveloper – extensions and new functionality using OAF.
  • Workflow Development and administration
  • BI Publisher
  • Shell Scripts
• Experience with OBIEE / OBIA / HR Analytics Solutions on Premise or Cloud based.
