Symatrix Appoints Chris Brooks to Managing Director as Paul Gillott Steps into the Role of Chairman

Symatrix today announces changes to the Symatrix Board of Directors. The Founder of Symatrix, Paul Gillott, steps into the role of Chairman and Chris Brooks is promoted to the position of Managing Director. As Chairman, Paul will concentrate on identifying new strategic opportunities while Chris ensures that Symatrix continues to be the leading specialist for HCM Services and Outsourcing in the UK.

Chris has over 15 years’ experience in the HR and Payroll market. He joined Symatrix as an Account Manager in 2008, moved to head up the Symatrix Managed Services division in 2010 and became Sales Director in 2014. Prior to Symatrix Chris managed a sales team at Snowdrop Systems, led an award winning team of customer support sales executives at Hewlett Packard and was part of the Cap Gemini team responsible for the smooth transition of services during the British Steel IT outsourcing project. Chris took over as Managing Director on the 1st March 2018.

Chris is now using his extensive experience of HR and Payroll service delivery to steer the Symatrix team to build on their success and maintain the service excellence as they move into the next exciting chapter in the company’s growth.

Commenting on the new appointment Paul Gillott, Chairman at Symatrix says “I am delighted that Chris is stepping up to Managing Director and leading Symatrix on the next stage of our journey. Chris has progressed through the company in an exceptional manner and he has demonstrated great leadership qualities during his tenure as Sales Director. I wish him all the best in his new role.”

Things are moving quickly in the HCM sector and I’m looking forward to keeping us at the forefront of that evolution.”
