Masternaut

Masternaut, with over 500 employees, are one of Europe’s biggest providers of telematics solutions. Since being founded in 1996 Masternaut has helped over 10,000 businesses by giving them the tools they need to improve their performance and safety whilst on the road.

The Challenge

Masternaut had multiple fragmented systems and wanted to standardise on one single solution and a single set of global best practice processes. They also wanted to have the ability to set up satellite offices quickly and cheaply, which led their CIO to drive a cloud strategy. They selected Oracle HCM Cloud because of its global capabilities, breadth of functionality and cloud delivery model. To meet their requirements Masternaut chose the following HCM Cloud modules: Core HR, Workforce Compensation and Performance and Goals Symatrix was engaged early on during the solution selection process due to our expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, our experience of global implementations and the positive experience that the CIO had had in his previous role where he used Symatrix.

The Solution

After working with Masternaut and understanding their specific business needs, Symatrix implemented Oracle HCM Cloud using the SIMPLY implementation methodology within a set timescale and budget. This implementation delivered a set of standard HR processes globally for the company. The results immediately made a positive impact delivering a 63% reduction in the effort to manage the compensation cycle. Their final business objective to be able to open global offices quickly and more efficiently was proven with new offices opening shortly after launch.
